To celebrate veterans and women in military families service to our country, over the course of three days, WVI has invited a star-studded lineup of speakers, hosts, and panelists including actress Angela Robinson of OWN TV’s The Have And The Haves Nots, Barbara Ward, director for

the Center for Minority Veterans; Nancy A. Glowacki, Ph.D., Women Veteran Program Manager for the U.S. Department of Labor; Meghan Ogilvie, executive director of Dog Tag Bakery; Theresa Bjornsen, recruiting manager for Johnson & Johnson; Kay Schwartz, USAA diversity hiring advisor; Marne N. Allison, vice president and chief information security officer, Johnson & Johnson; Tabatha Turman, founder of Integrated Finance and Accounting Solutions; and business coach & entrepreneur, Vicki Irvin of Superwoman Lifestyle.

Founded by Ginger Miller, a military vet and White House Champion of Change  recipient, WVI’s mission is to

help military veterans and their families experiencing homelessness, substance abuse, and mental illness, reintegrate back into the community, retain permanent housing, secure employment, maintain sobriety, and regain their pride, dignity, and most of all, hope.

“My goal for women veterans and those in the military is for them to hold their heads high and know they are not in it alone. I was once homeless as a veteran and I remember the struggle. I want these ladies to know that they took care of our country and now we are

tom-banner ampforwp-incontent-ad3"> going to make sure your country takes care of you. We make that possible through partnerships with our wonderful sponsors and our laser-focused initiatives, training, and premiere networking events,” said Miller.

“I am thrilled to be back hosting the 2015 WVI Extravaganza,” said this year’s co-host Vicki Irvin, CEO of Superwoman Lifestyle. These women deserve to be celebrated and embraced for all they have done for people like myself. I have been so impressed with the organization that I have donated proceeds from my own live events and charity runs to help support their mission. You won’t find better resources or people who truly care. You don’t have to be a veteran to attend; all you need is gratitude for their bravery.”

Over the last three years, the WVI Extravaganza garnered support from celebrities–Tyler Perry, Suze Orman, Angela Robinson, Kim Coles and Renee Lawless, to name a few. In case you’ve missed last year’s event, watch the video below.
