Rapper Jim Jones was arrested in front of his home in Fair Lawn, NJ on Wednesday (Feb. 13) after getting out of hand with a police officer in front of his home.
The Chrissy & Mr. Jones reality TV star lost his cool when Lt. Derek Bastinck put his name in the database and came up with two outstanding warrants. One was for a motor vehicle violation in Paterson, N.J. and the other was for failing to remove snow from his sidewalk.
Lt. Bastink asked Jones to accompany him to the precinct to clear the warrants; Jones denied the warrants and refused. He was then placed in custody.
“If [people with oustanding warrants] agree, we’ll just have them come down and pay what they owe,” Bastinck said, “but if they don’t agree, they’re placed under arrest.”
