Jamie Foxx Accuser ‘Fearful’ Amid ‘Highly Sensitive’ Assault Case, Wants To Remain Anonymous

The unidentifed woman behind the sexual assault lawsuit against Jamie Foxx is pleading to keep her identity hidden out of “fear” for her “safety.”

The Jane Doe behind the suit filed new court documents on Friday, Dec. 1 asking for a judge to grant her public anonymity, Radar Online reports. This comes one week after she filed the bombshell lawsuit accusing Foxx of touching her inappropriately inside a New York City nightclub in 2015.

“I was sexually assaulted as indicated in the Complaint and as a result, I suffered psychological and emotional injuries,” she claims in the suit.

“I do not desire to publicly disclose my identity as a victim of sexual assault because this matter is highly sensitive, and I have already experienced significant shock, shame, and embarrassment for my disclosure due to the prominence and celebrity status of the Defendants.”

The alleged victim claims to have started to fear for her safety after the lawsuit hit the press last week.

“It is very difficult for me to come forward and talk about the events that occurred,” she states in the filing. “The sexual assault I suffered has caused my depression, anxiety, lack of sleep, distress, and I am fearful that a public disclose will cause further emotional trauma.”

Foxx’s alleged victim says she doesn’t want to “bear the stigma that is associated with being a sexual assault victim.”

The “Ray” star was among an onsluaght of high-profile men in Hollywood who were on the receibing end of sexual assault lawsuits that came around the Thanksgiving holiday as the deadline for New York’s Adult Survivors Act came to an end. The act came into action on November 23, 2022, and gave a one-year period for adult sexual abuse victims to file lawsuits that otherwise would have been barred because the case was too old.

The woman behind the suit against Foxx claims to have met the actor at NYC’s Catch nightclub in 2015. She alleges that after asking for a photo, an allegedly “intoxicated” Foxx placed his hands under her shirt before sliding them into her pants and touching her genitalia.

Jane Doe claims others saw the alleged attack but reps for Foxx claim the incident never happened.

“In 2020, this individual filed a nearly identical lawsuit in Brooklyn. That case was dismissed shortly thereafter,” Foxx’s rep states.

“The claims are no more viable today than they were then. We are confident they will be dismissed again.”
