Idris Elba on Popularity with Women: “It’s Hard to Feel Like a Sex Symbol”

In the current issue of GQ British, actor  Idris Elba speaks on a number of topics.

Being a sex symbol, comes up, as he is considered to be the epitome of cool for “The Cool Issue.”

“The irony is I wake up every morning, look at myself in the mirror and think, “Whoa, I look like a piece of s–”,” he revealed. “You watch yourself age and it’s hard to feel like a sex symbol.”

He also talks about the rumor about him becoming the first black James Bond, “I would do it, but I don’t want to be called the first black James Bond. Do you understand what I’m saying? Sean Connery wasn’t the Scottish James Bond and Daniel Craig wasn’t the blue-eyed James Bond. So, if I played him, I don’t want to be called the black James Bond.”
