How to Attract and Book Your Ideal Client

Everyone wants to know how to book the kind of client who not only inspires, but also benefits and creates growth for their business. I have found that attracting the right kind of client begins with how you are branding your company. Your website, social media accounts, and manner of communication all influence what type of clients you are appealing to. By taking a different or new approach to these three domains, you can target your ideal client. Here’s how:

Revamp Your Website

The first place potential clients will look for information about your company is your website. Design and visual appearance can either deter or entice potential clients, so it is crucial that it is constantly up-to-date and organized in an efficient yet inviting manner. Almost all communication that my team engages in with other businesses and vendors begins through the Internet. Having a legitimate, well-designed website makes your clients feel that your company is reliable, credible and professional.

Assess your website from the eyes of the potential client that is unfamiliar with your company – this is how my company, Be Inspired PR, constantly evaluates our website. We look at it from the eyes of an outsider who knows nothing about what we do. This is the best place to start: if a potential client wants to contact you, is your contact information readily available? Do you have links to your other social media sites? Do you explain who you are? Remember that this could be the first time  your potential client is hearing about your business, so walk them through what you do and how you do it.

We are continually updating our website to make it easier to navigate, adding new information and features and uploading our latest work. Your website is your potential client’s first impression of your company, so it is worth putting in the time and money necessary to create a design that both you and your clients love.
