    • TRANSPORTATION
    The Madrid Metro is fast and efficient, running from 6:05 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. One-way tickets cost one euro. Taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced.

    CURRENCY
    Part of the European Union, Spain uses the euro. At the time of publication, one euro was equal to U.S. $1.28.
