Nonprofit organization Goodwill is adding a new face to its leadership team. The company announced that they will be appointing Onney Crawley as its new chief marketing officer.
Earning an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan
, Crawley comes to the role with years of working as a notable marketing executive for credible brands, including KCD Brands, General Mills, The Kellogg Co., Craftsman, and Kenmore developing growth strategies for multimillion-dollar corporations.“Onney has led successful marketing campaigns and driven profitable growth for iconic consumer brands,” said President and CEO of Goodwill Industries International Steven C. Preston in a statement, according to Yahoo Finance. “We are thrilled that she will be joining the Goodwill team to elevate our overall brand and messaging, helping the public to understand the critical needs of
today’s workforce and the life-changing work Goodwill does to help people advance in their lives. Her experience and oversight managing brand re-positioning, consumer segmentation, and partner development will help increase brand awareness for Goodwill.”Crawley will be working closely with the executive team to amplify the brand’s presence and find ways to expand existing corporate as well as customer partnerships. She is set to begin her new role this month. “Effective marketing is all about teamwork to drive brand health and equity and deliver results,” said Crawley in the statement. “At Goodwill, I look forward to aligning diverse functional groups to further add to the prestige and recognition of the Goodwill brand.”
