Start your day with breakfast at the Pavilion or opt for a power walk and run. Be in the hotel lobby at 7AM if you’d like to join your fellow attendees and get a rush of adrenaline to get your day under way.

Social golf and tournament golf are both available this morning in the Golf Course Staging Area. This presents the perfect opportunity to network with fellow attendees while enjoying time on the green.

Tennis lovers can head over to the Tennis Accuracy Challenge where your skills will be tested with a little friendly competition on the court. Sticking with the theme of tennis competition, Competitive Tournament Tennis will begin at 8AM sharp at the Health & Racquet Club for those interested in seeing how your skills measure up.

If you’re looking for fitness fun, today is your lucky day. The spin studio at the Health & Racquet Club welcomes you to an

intense spin class beginning at 7:30AM. The bikes are first come, first served, so rise, shine, and grind. Many other fitness classes will be available throughout the course of the day, including belly dancing, Zumba dance workout, Soca workout, Pilates barre, morning yoga, Hip-Hop dance workout, and boot camp boxing. Check your BE Events app to stay on top of class locations and times.

Note: If you haven’t done so already, now’s the time to download the BE Events App! Available on iOS, Android, and other smartphones, the app offers live updates throughout the event so you’re always in the know. Use the app to keep track of all the things you’d like to see and do while at the Golf & Tennis Challenge. You can also use it to connect with other attendees, upload the fun you’re having to your preferred social media (use hashtag #BEGT), check the day’s schedule, take notes, and learn about the event’s sponsors.

Beginner golfers, check out the Beginner Golf Academy hosted by Georgia Pacific and located on the Fazio Driving Range. PGA professionals will be there to help you learn the game and assist you with your swing.

At any moment during this jam-packed day, don’t hesitate to get a little rest and relaxation at Spa Rejuvenation. The PGA National Resort is home to a world-renowned spa where you can enjoy many luxurious amenities, including massages, facials, salon services, and Waters of the World therapies. If you’re looking for more ways to relax and socialize, AT&T is hosting a social lounge all day at St. Andrews. Pop in and check it out.

After you’ve relaxed for a while, it may be the perfect time to try something new. For the first time at the Golf & Tennis Challenge, Black Enterprise introduces archery to the event. This is another first come, first served activity, so sign up early!

Black Enterprise also introduces fencing this year! Head to the Bella Lago at 3PM to learn how to wield the foil, the épée, and the sabre – the three weapons used in modern fencing. Come on and take a stab at this unique sport! Pun intended.

PGA professional Rodney Green will facilitate a golf clinic for beginners at 11AM. This presents a great

opportunity for newbies to try their hand at the game while more experienced players are invited to come enhance their game. Golf clubs will be provided. The first practice session for the Beginner Golf Academy will begin at 1:30PM and attendees will receive personalized instruction.

Social Tennis & Tennis Academy Play also kicks off at 11AM demonstrating basic skills, techniques, and drills for the blossoming tennis player. This is yet another great opportunity to network with fellow attendees while engaging in non-competitive play. Be sure to report to the PGA tennis courts 15 minutes early to warm up.

Along with exercising your body, we encourage you to exercise your mind. Test your financial knowledge at BE’s very first question-and-answer financial game, Financial Jeopardy. Participation is limited, so come early and sign up!

Utilize your detective skills at the Photo Scavenger Hunt – but you won’t be able to participate in this activity unless you’ve downloaded the BE Events app! Clues will be given through the app and you’ll hunt for special prizes!

It wouldn’t be the Golf & Tennis Challenge you know without a cocktail to accompany the vibe. Join Black Enterprise in the Masters Ballroom at 2:30PM for Wine & Design

, where you’ll enjoy a glass of wine and step-by-step instructions from a local artist helping you create your own painted masterpiece.

It’s all fun and games until the game is Spades. Here’s where you’ll find the ultimate competition. Pick a partner – choose wisely – and head over to the Spades Tournament at 3PM in the Masters Ballroom to see if your ability matches your confidence. You’ll need to sign up prior to arriving at this session.

The stakes increase with Battle of the Sexes, the ultimate trivia game, held in Masters Ballroom A. Participate or just watch the men and women compete for the “know it all” title.

Cap off your full day by winding your hips to the sounds of Soca queen Alison Hinds at the BE Carnival! Wear your best and brightest colors and prepare to jump up, jam, and wave in the PGA Ballroom ’til you drop!
