On Ma 18, Daniel McKorley, CEO of the McDan Group, announced the addition of two new air crafts to meet the growing demand for luxury air travel to and from Africa, News Ghana reports. Among the new airplanes include the Beechcraft King Air b200 – a seven-seater private jet that will operate primarily from Ghana and occasionally to other parts of Africa.

The second plane is the Airbus EC135 T1 helicopter that’s set to provide scenic tours in Ghana and West Africa. The aircraft will also provide secondary medical transfer to connect patients from topographically-separated hospitals to reach facilities for appropriate medical attention.

McKorley continues to add luxury to the McDan Group since launching the private jet service in January 2022. His goal is to buy more planes and helicopters o expand his business and boost national tourism to Africa through air-ambulance services, Face 2 Face Africa reports.

As one of Ghana’s richest entrepreneurs, McKorley is well-versed in the field of aviation. His companies

include McDan Group of Companies, a renowned transportation and logistics firm based in Accra, McDan Shipping, McDan Aviation, and McDan Logistics. His companies are widely recognized throughout Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, and his own home country, Ghana, as noted by Billionaires Africa.

Now, with his two new fleets, McKorley is looking to continue his timely air service for luxury travelers.

“With a

small take-off and landing run, the aircraft will access smaller airfields that minimize ground travel time, leaving clients to continue their day in the quickest time possible, all in a comforting, sizeable cabin” he wrote on Facebook.

The latest investments have McKorley more confident of making McDan Aviation the number-one recognized private business jet charter in Africa in the near future.
