Follow me and BlackEnterprise.com this week as I attend the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV. I’ll be blogging, vlogging, and tweeting about all of the newest laptops, hard drives, smartphones, apps, and trends that will be unleashed this week and in the weeks to come.
This is the 40th year that the Consumer Electronics Association has put on this show and more than 100,000 people and 2,000 companies are
expected to attend. Whether you’re a business professional or a small business in need of a tech makeover there will be a little something for anyone who wants to know what gadgets they need to invest in if they want to make power moves in 2011. From LG Electronic’s latest networking, portable, wireless, phone technologies to GreenPeace’s eco-friendly product picks, I’ll be visiting representatives at a variety of companies and organizations to help readers learn more about what electronics to buy, how to implement them, and which ones they can do without.Since you can’t be there, I’ll be taking notes for you at CES workshops and will provide a roundup of tips on topics like cloud networking, tablet/smartphone advertising, and other technologies you can take to the bank. Most notably, I’ll top line the keynote speeches of prominent executives like Ursula Burns, CEO of Xerox, Arianna Huffington, founder of the Huffington Post, and Jeffrey Immelt
, chairman and chief executive officer of GE. Plus, be on the look out for impromptu interviews with celebrities like Ludacris, who is there to launch a new line of premium headphones by Signeo USA. See, I’m already putting you on to some of what’s on the horizon. The main event begins Thursday, but visit BlackEnterprise.com as often as you can this week as I’ll be hitting the press conferences today and tomorrow for a sneak peak of what’s to come before the big shebang begins.
