Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled a new look for the newsfeed on Thursday morning. The stream of content on the social network’s homepage now includes multiple channels for different interests, bigger images and videos, and a more consistent user experience across mobile devices.
Launching in 2006, the newfeed redesign is the most significant change to date for the platform’s widely-recognizable feature. While the limited rollout began today, if you’re ready to make the switch, it’s pretty simple to do.
Mashable instructs users to first go to Facebook.com/about/newsfeed and click on the “Join Waiting List†button at the top of the page.  You’ll have to wait, but the exact wait time is unclear. Some Facebook users may get lucky and get access today, while others will have to wait a little longer.
