On Saturday, July 26, the F.A.C.E. List awards, was hosted at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts at New York University. Business mogul Dr. Mo Ibrahim, fashion icon Alek Wek, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei, Afrobeat singer Femi Kuti, entrepreneur Bethlehem Alemu, and general manager of the NBA’s Toronto Raptors Masai Ujiri were honored for their outstanding contributions to the African continent. The event was hosted by Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh and Sandra Appiah, host of The SA Show.
