EMPOWERING BLACK MEN: PROSTATE CANCER IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY AND THE ROLE OF CLINICAL TRIALS

In recognition of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month (September), join us for an insightful discussion on the importance of diversity in clinical trials. A major focus of our conversation is on prostate cancer, which disproportionately affects the health outcomes, quality of life and longevity of Black men, and other groups who have been historically underrepresented in clinical trials. The conversation is moderated by Alfred Edmond, Jr., Black Enterprise SVP, Executive Editor, and prostate cancer survivor. Edmond is joined by Dr. Adrelia Allen, Executive Director of Clinical Trial Patient Diversity at Merck; Dr. Luther T. Clark, Executive Director of Patient Innovation & Engagement at Merck; and Euvon Jones, former clinical trial participant and prostate cancer advocate.
