The African American Museum Hosts a Weekend Celebration

The African American Museum is hosting a weekend-long itinerary of celebratory events, including a free young professionals’ mixer and panel discussion. On Saturday through Monday, the museum offers a reduced admission rate of $2 per person and participates in a variety of family-friendly activities to be held throughout the weekend. A musical celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, featuring a special performance with Yolanda Adams and the Let Freedom Ring Choir. Georgetown University will also award the 13th annual John Thompson Legacy of a Dream Award during the event.
