According to Fox Sports, the Donald Sterling saga may soon be over. It appears that Sterling met with potential owner, Steve Ballmer, for 90 minutes on Monday. After Sterling’s attorney told him it looks like he will lose his case to wife, Shelly Sterling, he decided to meet with the ex-Microsoft executive at the Sterling home.

Sterling took his wife to court to dispute her claim that he was mentally unfit to run the team, thereby giving her controlling interest in their estate, which, in essence, allowed her the right to sell the team to Ballmer. This comes after Donald Sterling was banned from the NBA for racist recordings his “assistant” revealed in audio tapes that were “discovered” by TMZ and led to an uproar throughout the sports world.
The parties will resume the court proceedings as a judgement has not been made yet.
