After news of Macy’s phasing out Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Sean John fashion line from its stores and then the announcement of Combs stepping down from his role at Revolt, another entity has decided to sever ties
with the embattled entertainment mogul.Amid Combs’ allegations of sexual allegations by three different women, Dr. Steve Perry, the founder of Capital Preparatory Schools, ended the partnership between the school and Diddy. “While this decision was not made lightly, we firmly believe it is in the best interest of our organization’s health and future,” Perry said in a statement.
The recent spate of bad news for the Combs Global CEO has taken place after his former girlfriend and R&B artist, Cassie, filed a lawsuit accusing him of various indiscretions, including sexual assault. After settling the
lawsuit 24 hours later, two other women came forward as apart of the New York Adult Survivors Act and filed suits against Diddy. Both women alleged Diddy sexual assaulted them in 1990 and 1991.On Tuesday, Nov. 28, Revolt TV posted the news of Diddy stepping down on the company’s Instagram account.
“While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in the
business, this decision helps to ensure that Revolt remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture and amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this country and the African diaspora,” the statement read.Diddy has not had a hand in Revolt’s day-to-day activity in recent years, as the company
