For the first time this fall, minorities are expected to make up the majority of students attending American public schools, putting an end to the majority white population that has long served as the face of American schools.
According to a report from the U.S. Education Department, the percentage of white
students will drop this fall from 51% in 2012 to 49.7 %. The report also reveals that minority students are expected to make up 54.7 % of the public school population by 2022, while white students make up 45.3%.But don’t let these numbers fool you into thinking that this fall there
