The president announced that he will issue federal guidelines to identify acceptable spending uses of economic stimulus funds. He told a group of lawmakers that his administration “will do everything in our power†to prevent the waste of taxpayer dollars.
Obama sent a greeting to the Iranian people in a video with Farsi subtitles, wishing them a happy Nowruz, which marks the arrival of spring and the start of a new year.
