A member of Diddy’s infamous Making the Band MTV series, Kevin Barnes, who we know as Chopper, was arrested and is being extradited to Las Vegas to face sex trafficking charges in Nevada, TMZ reports.

Legal documents obtained by TMZ state that an undercover vice detective in Nevada posed as a sex worker and was contacted by Chopper through direct messaging on Instagram.

The former rapper allegedly offered the detective to make money through prostitution. After checking Chopper’s Instagram account, the detective observed several posts related to prostitution and pimping. There were posts where Chopper flashed his wealth and referenced being a pimp. The undercover cop launched an investigation after viewing evidence on social media of a potential sex trafficking operation.

The undercover officer

alleges Chopper reached out and bragged about frequent traveling and possessing seven homes across the country, including one in Las Vegas.Chopper also informed the undercover cop that Las Vegas was not a safe place to do business because law enforcement was cracking down. They made phone contact, and Chopper allegedly told them he would make them part of his “team” and “stable.”

After several conversations, the officer felt they had enough evidence to charge Chopper with felony sex trafficking.

Last month, in an Instagram post, one of the members of Da Band aired his grievances against music mogul Sean Combs. He expressed having mental health issues and blamed it on being in the series and the treatment he received at the hands of the Bad Boy founder.

Going to Instagram and reposting a clip another user posted, Da Band’s Freddy P

acknowledged that the way he was treated made him never want to rap again. He feels his talent was snatched away from him, and all he was doing was chasing a dream.

Days after Freddy P posted, Diddy seemingly responded to Freddy’s claims by posting a cryptic message, telling his followers and possibly his critics to “STOP ALL YOUR CRYING.”
