Creme of Nature wants to do its part to help Black aspiring professionals from historically Black colleges and universities. The beauty giant announced this week that it will be establishing a new scholarship program worth $100,000 designated for HBCU students.
The Legacy to Leadership Scholarship Fund will be administered through the United Negro College Fund to celebrate the company’s legacy of making products for the Black community and helping fund education for the next generation.

“The prominence of HBCU alumni and their impact on the world cannot be overstated. This dynamic network has instilled confidence and created a space for dreams to be obtained for Black students for more than 100 years. Creme of Nature shares these values intimately,” stated Jolorie Williams, general manager, Revlon Multicultural and Contract Services and alum of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU).
“We understand the creativity, power, and change that happens when an investment is made in the Black community and we are excited to continue sowing into this community with our initial program offering financial educational support and prizes to support the next generation of world changers.”
Applicants can apply now through March 17, 2021. The company will select 25 students to be awarded $5,000 each to be used toward their school tuition.
