From Huffington Post.
Newark Mayor Cory Booker is reportedly entertaining the idea of running against New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in 2013.
According to reports Booker told Democratic chairs that he is strongly considering it. Booker, who has been praised for his fervent leadership and commitment to the often precarious city of Newark, has over the years made a formidable name for himself in politics. Many have long hinted at his possible bid for higher office.
Reports aside, Booker and his possible Republican challenger, Christie, have been chumming it up in bipartisan efforts and have even come across at friends. However, Booker is considered to be the one Democrat who could beat Christie in a gubernatorial race.
