Music industry legend, Clive Davis, has come out of the closet.
In an exclusive interview with Katie Couric on her talk show, “Katie,” (which airs on Feb. 19), Davis – responsible for the music careers of Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, and Jennifer Hudson – candidly opens up about his sexuality.
“I opened myself up to the possibility that I could have a relationship with a man as well as the two that I had with a woman,” he says on his failed marriage in the mid ’80s. “I’m still attracted to women. You don’t have to be only one thing or another. For me, it’s the person.â€
While the Brooklyn-bred music tastemaker shied away from revealing who he’s dating, he did note that he’s in a “monogamous relationship,” according to Billboard. Davis’ revelation coincides with his autobiography, “The Soundtrack of My Life,” which goes on sale the same day of the show’s airing.
