Civil Rights Groups Create App To Fight Voter Suppression
A new app which debuted August 9 will help voters verify their registration, register to vote, find a polling place and learn about any new voting rules in their state, according to Loop 21.
A group of five civil rights organizations have teamed up to create the app.
Close to 11 percent of voters in the country don’t have a government issued state ID. The number may be higher for senior citizens.
