Ne-Yo, principle of music production company Compound Entertainment and the nonprofit Compound Foundation, has excelled as a R&B singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. Since breaking into the recording industry as a songwriter, penning “Let Me Love You” for singer Mario, Ne-Yo has

had five top10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 as a lead artist and two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. He’s also established a significant catalog of hit songs written for other artists. The mission of Ne-Yo’s Compound Foundation “is to increase the awareness of the status of children in the child welfare system in America.” The foundation works with residential care facilities through programs aimed at teaching entrepreneurship and life skills to empower children to become productive, successful and independent adults.

Ne-Yo’s most recent release, Libra Scale, marks his fourth consecutive top 10 album and he’ll be a headline performer at the 2011 Black Enterprise/Pepsi Golf & Tennis Challenge on Labor Day Weekend at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami.
