For the past few seasons color blocking has had a strong hold on fashion but that trend  is fading as black and white take center stage as the new bold colors. Seen on numerous runways, the two basic colors come together for a contrast that’s more sharp and chic than minimal and mundane.
This is one trend that should be easy, right? Practically every woman has black and white in their closet and can create a look that’s on trend. Avoid a uniform look by wearing crisp, tailored pieces that are more refined and structured like Beyonce’s Grammy look. If you really want to get into the trend and have fun with it, try the two basic colors in graphic prints and patterns like stripes, herringbone, and large checkers for a bold impact.
When partnered together, black and white have the ability to draw the eye without taking attention away from your overall outfit. No matter how you wear it, the contrasting colors are one of the most wearable trends of the season and make clear style statement.
