Candace Owens Calls Out Netflix and Uber Eats, Says ‘The Left Has Reintroduced Segregation’
Political conservative firebrand Candace Owens hasn’t wasted much time in drawing criticism in 2021.
The controversial pundit took to Twitter to start another beef, this time blasting Netflix and Uber Eats for introducing categories that support Black cinema and restaurants. Owens also claimed that “The Left has reintroduced segregation back into American society.”
Netflix now has a category for “black cinema”.
Uber Eats now has a category for “black restaurants”.The Left has reintroduced segregation back into American society under the guise of progressivism— they used #BLM propaganda to anger black people to the point of blindness.

Owens then resorts to calling Democrats racist and called those who “fell for it” ignorant fools.
Racist Democrats rebranded segregation as black empowerment, and ignorant fools fell for it.
Spoiler alert: they aren’t done yet.
Keep believing evil white conservatives want to bring harm to you while the actual evil white racist progressives continue to destroy your life.

And, as she usually does, Owens’ takes drew out passionate responses from other Twitter users.
Uber Eats has a black category because soul food is a real thing. Black restaurants need our communities to support them. Especially during this pandemic. Black businesses aren’t going to get any PPP money.

more appropriate will be saying , jamaican, nigerian, haitian, african american, cajun cuisine/ restaurant. We do highlight country culture, french, japanese etc movies, music, why for black everything has to be in one box? Sorry we have very unique and different backgrounds

So Mexican, Indian and Thai food should be just food yeah? Then we’d spend hours trying to find Chicken Biryani when it could have as well been labelled Indian food.
Comical 🤣

Or like a Chinese one? Italian? French? How dare they categorize restaurants!

Netflix has a category for Latino videos. It doesn’t offend me as a Mexican American. Neither does a restaurant category of Mexican restaurants, or Vietnamese restaurants.
It isn’t segregationist. It’s informative. I thought it was promoting videos that might get ignored.— Hope Restored (@JoeKnittingMama) January 4, 2021
But you got no problem with being a convenient “black conservative” when white folks need a grifter to reference in defense of their racism, huh? Cool cool.

Nah babe. I see progression. We’ve wanted to see black movies and shows in a category on streaming sites..cause we are familiar with those shows and deserve access, etc. & We WANT access to black restaurants, cause it helps them grow as a businesses. You can’t see that? 🤔

Isn’t it just categorization? Why does it have to be divisive? How come it can’t just be easy to find a movie that’s about the Black experience? Why do we have to pour through a million options to find one movie we want or one restaurant we want to eat at? Seriously?
