According to NBC News, the eldest son of future NBA Hall of Famer LeBron James, entered the game about 13 minutes into the first half. As promised, his father and Los Angeles Laker star witnessed the entry along with the thousands of fans in the arena.

After Bronny was officially cleared to return to the hardwood on Nov. 30, LeBron vowed that nothing, not even an NBA game, would stop him from attending his son’s first college game.

Fans were impressed with the defensive play of the freshman, who mimicked his father, blocking an opponent’s shot after sprinting downcourt to catch him. The play electrified the crowd.

Bronny made his first college bucket in the first half and connected on a three.

The Trojans lost Long Beach State, 84-79.

“I just want to say I’m thankful for everything. Mayo Clinic, everything they helped me with,” Bronny said after the game. “My parents, siblings for supporting me through this hard time of my life. I just want to give appreciation to everyone that’s helped me through this.”

The proud father posted an inspirational message to his son after the game.

“Can’t even tell y’all how EMOTIONAL today was for me! I’m literally drained and all I can say is @bronny you’re simply INCREDIBLE!! Damn the wins and loses that will occur. You’ve already won the ultimate goal/championship and that’s LIFE!!! Proud of you kid and today you’ve given me more life! Thank you and I love you 🤎🙏🏾🤴🏾🥺 ”

The Trojans are currently in 10th place in the PAC-12 with a record of 5-4. Their next game is Dec. 17 against Auburn.
