Songstress and actress, Brandy Norwood, who has been in the entertainment industry for the past 20 years, is currently on BET’s The Game with her portrayal of lead character, Chardonnay Pitts. She recently went on VH1 Big Morning Buzz Live to dish the dirt on her character who is trying to navigate the waters of the new football lifestyle she’s married into.
On winning her NAACP Award for Best Supporting Actress
for the role, she said, “I forgot what it was like to win an award. So, it was very special to feel that energy and love in the room, but I was so happy to win for playing Chardonnay because it was my first role as an adult woman.â€Brandy discussed her character’s bridezilla moments on The Game, “She’s strong and knows what she wants, she’s all for love. She loves her husband, but he just kissed his ex wife and I have a problem with that. So I’m spending all his money,†Brandy said about her character.
She also shared some details about the new album she’s working on, “It’s a personal album, singing about life and a lot of things I’ve been going through lately.â€
Brandy joined the cast of The Game during the season five January 2012 premiere. Brandy was best known for her role as Moesha Mitchell in the hit UPN sitcom Moesha

Season 7 of The Game premiered on March 4, 2014 and reportedly Season 8 has already been ordered by BET.
