The Black Women Talk Tech conference is back for its 3rd annual conference, and this year it’s jam-packed with great speakers, lots of motivation, and a $100,000 pitch competition.
The conference w
as built from the perspective of women, and the goal is to showcase the brilliance of black women in tech, create a stage for their experiences, foster deep connections, and create real funding opportunities. This year’s speakers include keynotes from Arlan Hamilton founder of Backstage Capital and Julia Collins, founder of Zume Pizza, Inc. In addition, conference goers will hear from Luvvie Ajayi, Tiffany Aliche, the founder of The Budgetnista, and Lauren Ash from Black Girl in Om to name a few.The first day starts off with a founder’s retreat that highlights mindfulness and relaxation, and as the days continue on, one can expect to hear talks surrounding fundraising, investor relationships, and brand building workshops. The third day will be packed full of inspiration for all attendees to partake in.

must run a tech or scalable company. Additionally, all applications are due by February 15, at 11:59 PM EST. The grand prize is being awarded in partnership with the New Voices Fund created by family-run conglomerate Sundial Brands, owner of ESSENCE, SheaMoisture, and Nubian Heritage.The fund is the brainchild of co-founder and CEO Richelieu Dennis, and in the company’s words, is consistent with a
