Black History Month: Michelle Obama, First Lady of the United States
Michelle Obama slays as the first African American first lady of the United States. Aside from her position as first lady, which she uses to advocate for higher education, healthy living, and poverty awareness, Obama is also a lawyer and author. Prior to her current position, Obama was a vice president for community and external affairs at the University of Chicago Medical Center having previously worked as an associate at the Sidley & Austin law firm, a city administrator for the city of Chicago, and a community outreach activist.
