The Western New York/Buffalo Chamber of Commerce and the Western NY Chapter of the National Black MBA Association joined forces last week for a panel on black businesses.
The panel discussion titled “Stepping Up to Keep Businesses Running in the Black Community,”was attended by over 80 people.
Their goal was to help inspire ideas to start and to also cultivate and preserve black businesses.
“When you think of a business plan, you should think of succession planning,” said Richard C. Cummings, vice president of the Black Chamber of Commerce. “The business plan is how to succeed, the succession plan is how to continue that success.”
