Arkansas State Holds Auction to Coach Football Team for 1 Hour
Have you ever wanted to coach a college football game? Do you dream of giving an inspiring halftime speech to rile the players to go out there and ‘Win one for the Gipper?’ Well, guess what? You actually have a chance to do just that!
ESPN is reporting that the Arkansas State Red Wolves are auctioning off the right to coach in next Friday night’s game, April 18th. The winner of the eBay auction, which, as of this posting, was at $11,500, will be given the title of head coach and the responsibilities that go along with it.
“We figure an Arkansas State fan would want to win this, but we didn’t want to limit ourselves,” said Blake Anderson, the school’s head coach.
Bidding ends Monday afternoon.
