Wall Street Project
Black Enterprise had the pleasure of serving as a media partner for the 15th Annual Rainbow/PUSH Wall Street Project Economic Summit. Alongside Bank of America and Inner City Broadcasting Corp., be hosted “Positioning Your Small Business For Big Business” moderated by Alfred Edmond Jr. The panel featured Jeffrey A. Robinson, Deon Levingston, Maurice Coleman, and be Multimedia Content Producer Marcia Wade Talbert. The discussion included strategic methods needed to maximize opportunities for all small business endeavors. It was an enlightening experience for all business leaders looking to expand their horizons in any market.

Small Business Empowerment Series
At the Hotel Monaco in Washington, D.C., Black Enterprise partnered with Verizon Wireless on the final leg of its Small Business Empowerment Series. This networking and brand building event targeted female African American small business owners. Moderated by BE’s own Caroline Clarke, executive editor and host of Black Enterprise Business Report, the event offered an in-depth conversation with two leading female entrepreneurs: Radio One and TV One Founder Cathy Hughes, and TheYBF.com Founder Natasha Eubanks. Stick Fly
On a rainy night in New York City, Black Enterprise conducted an insightful on-stage “Talk Back” panel after a recent performance of the popular new Broadway play Stick Fly. Moderated by Tai Beauchamp with Stick Fly playwright Lydia R. Diamond, Black Enterprise Senior Multimedia Content Producer Carolyn M. Brown, and The Terrie Williams Agency President and Founder, Terrie Williams, the panelists discussed the play’s many themes and how it resonates with diverse audiences as well as the importance of African Americans on Broadway.
