Agbara Life Designs Powered Backpacks

There are some cool gadgets to hit the market, but we’re particularly interested in Agbara Life. The company creates highly functional and fashionable powered backpacks that feature a sleek matte black look complimented with gold or silver hardware and triple USB output power to keep you connected while on the go. Their Type-C with Power Delivery option allows you to charge the latest phones and laptops including the MacBook Pro.

Other additional key standout features are that the backpack has super-durable YKK zippers; a rain cover; RFID Shielded Blacking protection; it’s TSA checkpoint, pocket-friendly; it’s housed in water-repellent PU leather; and it has amazing battery juice.

Currently, the pack comes in two options; the Cinchpack is 20% larger than its counterpart, the Daypack. The Cinchpack is said to be perfect for the traveler while the smaller version is perfect for the commuter. It’s interesting. There are several products on the market looking to tackle this space. One has yet to stick and I’m not sure why because this seems to be a no-brainer. The beauty is that the market is fairly new, so I look forward to seeing how the company operates on the product.

Agbara Life was founded by Nigerian-American Tayo Adesanya, who says the name stands for power, strength, energy, and ability in Yoruba. His background is a far cry from retail. He was an NCAA All-American and Big Ten Champion at Purdue University, graduating from the Electrical Engineering Tech program. He also became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The tutoring and mentoring he did back then translates to his work now.

We recently saw the bags at CES and it seems as though they are getting a lot of traction. The company has exceeded their Indiegogo campaign goal. If you are interested in checking it out, click here.
