With the African American Festival a mere 3 days away, you’re likely already gearing up for the festival activities, panels, performances, sessions, and giveaways. While enjoying all that AAF has to offer, be sure you take a moment to take in a powerful discussion on the truth and consequences of Black love and relationships with actress and singer Demetria McKinney and matchmaker and coach, Gee Sanders.

Demetria McKinney is a talented artist most known for her work as Janine Shelton-Payne on the TBS sitcom, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. She was nominated for a 2009 NAMIC Vision Award for Best Performance in a comedy based on this role. You may now catch her on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Demetria is currently working on an album to be released soon.
Gee Sanders is a successful matchmaker and coach for PCB Agency, an international matchmaking agency specializing in identifying ideal matches. She is referred to by many as a no-nonsense love guru that everyone needs and she has an extensive background in relationship coaching. Gee also has experience in clinical, behavioral, and sociological issues that impact individuals’ success in dating.
