According to The NY Daily News, Nike has suspended Minnesota Vikings’ Adrian Peterson’s endorsement. This was a quick turn around as Nike previously stated they would stick by the running back.
“Nike in no way condones child abuse or domestic violence of any kind and we have shared our concerns with the NFL,†read the terse emailed statement. “We have suspended our contract with Adrian Peterson.â€
Peterson has been charged with child abuse for disciplining his son with a ‘switch’ and has been placed on the NFL’s exempt-commissioner’s permission list while his case is being resolved.
