According to footage captured at the event, Hill was flipping off former President Donald Trump. The actress and her husband appeared to have already been seated. Radar Online reported that Trump, a longtime UFC fan, was entering the Madison Square Gardens arena to attend the pay-per-view fight

The incident occurred moments before Diego Lopes and Pat Sabatini faced off in the UFC featherweight fight and struck some nerves from Trump supporters on social media. The post published to X by verified user Still Boneless gathered comments against Hill that described her gesture as “classless” and “trashy.” However, a swarm of X users defended the flip-off. “She represents an entire nation,” one user wrote. Another chimed in and commented, “She isn’t wrong.”

Other users argued that the actress was simply embracing a “badass” moment and flipping off the camera.

“Donald Trump walked into an arena that holds 20,000 people, and 19,999 people were so happy. And then there was Bill Burr’s wife,” The Post Millenial editor Libby Emmons posted. A user commented under Emmons’ post and said Hill is “upset because nobody knows her name and just calls her ‘Bill Burr’s wife.’”

The podcaster has been hit with backlash from his wife’s actions during Saturday’s fight. Instagram users headed over to Burr’s page demanding, “Get your wife under control” and “Check your wife she cost you millions.”

According to a recent anniversary post on the Netflix star’s Instagram page, the two actors celebrated a decade of marriage: “20 years together, 10 years married, 2 children, 1 beautiful life. Happy Anniversary @wilfredburr,” Hill wrote on Oct. 20. Hill, an author and filmmaker, is known for her roles in TV series such as Crashing and Lila, Long Distance. She founded the Tenderheaded Films production company in 2012.
