Take in a show during “Broadway Week”
During Broadway Week (January 19 — February 5) you can purchase 2-for-1 tickets for participating shows such as The Color Purple, Chicago, and The Lion King.

Learn to make money off of your food creations at the Brooklyn Public Library
The Start Smart Series: Start an Artisanal Food Business, is a free course held at the Brooklyn Public Library. The event takes place on Wednesday, January 20, from 6—7 pm and features entrepreneurial guidance from food and beverage law expert Lauren Handel of Foscolo & Handel PLLC.

Ice skate, ski, and snowboard at the Free “Winter Jam 2016” in Central Park
Winter Jam, a free winter festival chock full of events for New Yorkers of all ages, takes place on Saturday, January 23. According to the TimeOut NY, even if there’s rain or shine, upstate ski destination Gore Mountain will blow fresh snow into the heart of Central Park, where festivalgoers can snowshoe and kicksled.

Enjoy music from the Harlem Gospel Choir at B.B. King’s
In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, the World-Famous Harlem Gospel Choir
will perform at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York. Tickets are $22 in advance, $26 day of show.
