Sun State International Trucks L.L.C. is the largest African American-owned franchise of the West Central Florida-based International Truck & Engine Corp. The Tampa-based dealership sells new and used trucks, tractors, and OEM parts from its $2.5 million inventory.
In 2008, the dealership reported revenues of more than $108.9 million — up 11% from last year.
Community service is an important aspect in the company. Over the years, it has provided charitable contributions to the American Red Cross, Goodwill Industries Sun-Coast, the Spring of Tampa Bay, as well as the University of South Florida.
