Condoleezza Rice, Dropbox
Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was appointed to Dropbox’s board of directors in April 2014. Dropbox is a cloud service company that lets you access all your photos, documents, and videos from any device. Her appointment, however, came with backlash and even prompted an online petition and Twitter hashtag #DropDropbox. The unrest came from Rice’s support of the National Security Agency’s surveillance program during her run under the Bush administration. Dropbox CEO Drew Houston defended his decision saying, “The company [is] proud to have her on the board.”

David Drummond, Google
David Drummond, a Stanford Law School graduate, is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Legal Officer for Google. He has been involved with Google since the search engine’s early days in 1998. Drummond was alongside Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey
Brin when the company was first searching for investors. Today he continues to lead Google’s global legal, government relations, and corporate development teams. He also serves as chairman of Google’s investment arms, Google Ventures and Google Capital.(Continued)
Malik Ducard, YouTube
As YouTube’s Director of Content Business Developments, Malik Ducard is responsible for developing partnerships between YouTube, television, film, and modern media companies. Under Ducard’s management, YouTube launched YouTube Live, began offering movie rentals from Paramount
Pictures, and partnered with news outlets like ABC News, Al Jazeera English, and BuzzFeed. Prior to joining YouTube, he served as Senior Vice President of Digital Distribution at Paramount Pictures and oversaw the distribution of films to mobile and digital platforms, including Netflix, iTunes, and Xbox. Ducard earned a bachelor’s in film and African American Studies from Columbia University and an MBA from the University of California.(Continued)
Ime Archibong, Facebook
Ime Archibong is Facebook’s Manager of Strategic Partnerships, in charge of the company’s music and video strategy. He’s brokered relationships with several companies, including Spotify, Hulu, and Netflix. Before joining Facebook in 2010, he worked at IBM where he handled the licensing of IBM’s technology. Archibong earned a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Yale and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and enjoys leading discussions on diversity in tech companies.
