Baldwin Richardson Foods Co. is Illinois’ largest minority-owned food service supplier. The company was created when global food giant Quaker Oats sold Richardson foods to BE 100s CEO Eric Johnson, then president and CEO of Baldwin Ice Cream Cos. Shortly after his acquisition, Johnson merged the two companies together.
Today, the company consists of four business entities: Baldwin Ice Cream, Mrs. Richardson’s Dessert Toppings, and Nance’s Mustard’s & Condiments. Baldwin Richardson Foods supplies food manufactures and restaurant chains with products including dipping sauces, condiments, dessert toppings and syrups.
