For more than 30 years, The Gourmet Cos. has been a food-service industry leader. The firm, then headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina earned $2.3 million after acquiring food service contracts on six college campuses during its first year of operations.
Today, the Atlanta-based company has grossed more than $182 million in sales. Since its inception, the company has expanded the services of its collegiate division with its brand partners including Chick-Fil-A, Schlotzsky’s Deli, and Planet Smoothie. The Gourmet Cos. operates a host of additional contracts with clients in industries from hotel management to correctional facilities.
