Consider your morning already blessed and highly favored, as Sir Philip Green announced a 50/50 joint venture with Beyoncé Knowles. The news has already spun the internet into a tizzy with fans, both music and fashion alike, already hyping up the co-venture creation. Green's TOPSHOP is one of the most frequented stores in the U.S. and U.K. With over 300 shops in Great Britain and more than 440 shops across 37 countries, this partnership between the world's most recognized entertainer and the British retailer screams money. The company will be called Parkwood TopShop Athletic Ltd., and will mark Beyoncé's fourth foray into the world of fashion. The 33-year-old global performer had worked with H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, and launched her House of Deréon before going into business with Sir Philip Green and TopShop. Together the duo will launch a global athletic street-wear brand to rival Nike and Adidas in fall 2015. The brand will encompass activewear clothing, footwear and accessories across dance, fitness and sports to ensure the masses experience a "dynamic fusion of fashion with the highest levels of technical performance." Sir Philip Green says of Beyoncé as a business ally, "I could not think of a better partner as I continue to grow the Parkwood business."
