Todd’s rough estimates are a little over the top even for the most optimistic of experts and people following the election. Having full civic engagement and participation among all races would be unheard of in American history, which reached its peak in 1908. But, hopefully, the increase in voters, (no matter the outcome) will push more voters to take interest in local politics and remain engaged.
