It’s no secret that a gender pay gap still exists as women continue to fight for equal opportunity and pay in the workforce.
While progress has been made over the years, a recent study from Glassdoor shows women earn about 76 cents for every dollar a man earns. Using a unique data set of more than 505,000 salaries shared anonymously online by employees, Glassdoor found that even when all factors are equal, including job title, company, education, and industry, a pay gap still exist.

Looking at both “explained” factors like worker differences, and “unexplained” factors like workplace discrimination, the job review company found that one of the biggest causes of gender wealth gap is occupation. Using information from Glassdoor’s data and the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 24/7 Wall Street compiled a list of the worst paying jobs for women today.
