Founded by former Manhattan Borough President Percy Sutton  in 1971, Inner City Broadcast Holdings Inc. (I.C.B.C.) is the nation’s oldest and second largest radio broadcasting company. I.C.B.C. Broadcasting serves urban communities  in six cities across the country including New York; Columbia, South Carolina; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Philadelphia; San Francisco; and Jackson, Mississippi.

The company’s flagship station is WBLS-FM in New York City is the flagship station of I.C.B.C. Broadcasting.

In April 2009, I.C.B.C. Broadcasting president Charles Warfield was named to the Federal Communications Commission Advisory Committee on Diversity for Communications in the Digital Age.  Revenues for the company totaled $50.6 million 2008–down 30.5% from the last year.
